​I'm Steph, the photographer behind Mad about Saffron. After almost fourteen years working in London as a fashion photographer, I'm now in Sheffield capturing weddings with a candid and documentary approach. My longstanding love of vintage fashion, old music and film has naturally shaped Mad about Saffron's aesthetic. The business name itself is a lyric from Donovan’s 1967 song 'Mellow Yellow' and the overall style of photography is grainy, nostalgic and cinematic. I include a roll of 35mm film at every wedding for an extra touch of authentic and timeless charm focusing on the small details that make your day unique.  I love the Japanese concept of Wabi-Sabi: the appreciation of the beauty of imperfection, impermanence and simplicity as the natural state of things in the world and I like to think my photographs align with this philosophy.
